Personal Information You Provide:

Salon Owners and Employers (Listers): Name, contact email or phone, business information and address of the space or job, listing details and photos, and pricing or availability. When you pay the $5 listing fee, card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page; ChairGrab does not receive or store your full card number.
o
Beauty Professionals (Renters and Job Seekers): Browsing and searching do not require personal information. If you create an account, we collect your name and email. Messages you type into our AI assistant are used to answer your request.
Automatically Collected Information:

Usage data (IP address, device type, browser, referring page, pages visited, time stamps).
o
Cookies and similar technologies to understand preferences and enhance experience.
Third-Party Sources:

Our payment processor, Stripe, shares payment confirmations with us (for example, that a listing fee was paid, the amount, the date, and the email used at checkout).
o
Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) may provide aggregated usage data.
o
Google Maps services convert listing addresses into map locations (city, state, ZIP and coordinates).
3How We Use Your Information

Service Delivery: To publish and display listings, place them on maps and city pages, process listing fee payments and receipts, and help people find and contact Listers.

Account Management: To create/manage your account and support your access and use.
•
AI Assistant and Search: Questions you type into our AI assistant (Chairry) are processed by our AI provider, Google (Gemini), to search listings and answer you. Published listings are also made available to search engines and AI assistants through our sitemap, public listing pages, and public API, so people can find them.

Improvements & Analytics: Analyze and enhance Site performance, user experience, and offerings.
•
Communications: Provide updates, customer support, notifications, and marketing (subject to your preferences).

Legal Compliance & Protection: To enforce our Terms of Service, prevent fraud, respond to legal requests, and protect rights and safety.
4Sharing and Disclosure

Public Listings: The contact name, email or phone number, address, photos, and other details you include in a listing are displayed publicly on the Site and may be shown by search engines, AI assistants, and apps that use our public API. Only include contact details you are comfortable making public.

Service Providers: Third parties assisting in payment processing (Stripe), hosting (Vercel), data storage and sign-in (Google Firebase), maps (Google Maps), AI features (Google Gemini), and analytics (Google Analytics)—under their own data protection terms.

Legal and Safety Obligations: Disclose information when required by law or to protect ChairGrab's rights or the safety of others.

Business Transfers: If ChairGrab undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction—subject to privacy commitments.

Listings you start but do not pay for are deleted automatically after 7 days. Published listings stay live for at least 30 days and are kept until they are removed. Payment records are kept by Stripe and by us as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Users may request deletion or updating of their data, subject to retention for legitimate interests (e.g., tax records, disputes).
7Security Measures

"As-Is" Provision: The Site and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement).

Limitation of Damages: ChairGrab's total liability for any claim related to the Site or services is strictly limited to the amount you paid to ChairGrab in the 12 months preceding the claim (or a smaller statutory maximum if applicable).
